Why it's important to start your day with a good breakfast.
There is one excuse that people normally give as to why they do not start their days with a good breakfast meal or none at all, that they are not feeling hungry. It really gets to me when someone says that they did not have breakfast because they were not feeling hungry. In fact it gets me wondering whether or not these individuals really do understand what it means to have breakfast or what it really means to the rest of their day to have breakfast. There are so many things that have been said about having breakfast in the morning, and in particular about having a very good breakfast in the morning so going into that at this moment might as well be a waste of time. However, it is important to mention how important it is for you to eat right early in the morning because your body does appreciate the fuel injection.
In fact am peeved at the fact that there are some people who basically have omitted breakfast from their meal schedule for all times sake, and I even wonder how they are still alive. Of course you might not be feeling hungry in the morning, but this does not mean that you have to eat nothing. At times you have to force yourself to eat or drink something in the morning so that you can help your body better appreciates all the effort that you are making. It is more like drinking a glass of water in the morning. This does not mean that you are thirsty, but it is a good habit to make sure that you do it because the body needs that water to help in cleansing the system.
Having been asleep for some 6-8 hours you have to understand that the body has been starved of nutrients for that long. Unless of course you are one of those people who periodically sleepwalk their way to the fridge when they are sleeping, your body is really short on nutrients by the time you wake up. Of course when you are sleeping not so much is going on inside your body, but the fact that you are able to wake up alive and well means that so much had to happen to keep your systems awake throughout the night. Therefore if you had any nutrients in the body, probably the ones that you had through the day and before you went to sleep, all of them are depleted by the time you wake up. It is therefore common sense for you to provide the body with a dose of nutrients. Besides, even if you sleepwalk to the fridge, chances are high that you do not do it every 2 hours to eat something in particular or to keep your diet.
Having a good breakfast is a very simple way of jumpstarting your body metabolism and getting your body processes moving in the right direction. If you still are keen on skipping breakfast, have it in your mind that you will be feeling weaker in the morning when you are actually supposed to be stronger.
