How many times have you been able to get just the right excuse not to go to the gym? Of course the explanation is always that there was nothing you could do to avoid it, or that you had to skip the gym for something really pressing. Whatever reason that you will come up with, rest assured that you need to be tied to the city square and flogged because you are letting yourself down and for no good reason. If you cannot go to the gym, do not go to the gym. The worst thing is finding excuses to make you not go to the gym and that is just ugly, plain ugly. Take for example that time when you are at home, sitting comfortably at the couch and enjoying your TV shows then the thought crosses your mind that perhaps you might as well just skip the gym today and nothing would go wrong. It is very easy to lazy around and forget about going to the gym, but all this is because you allow yourself to. We all get that impulse to get lazy from time to time and you can rest assured that if you let it take over your life, you will never be able to achieve much. Of course there are times when the best thing for you would be to skip the gym, say when you are down with a fever, when you are injured or for some medical reason. However, if you are not in such a position, get up and hit the gym!
The motivation to go to the gym comes from inside you, and it can also die from inside you.
