In my opinion Opti-Men has the best Multivitamin product on the market, Especially for us gym enthusiast , Although I haven't noticed any other ingredients that specifically tend to our workout needs other then of course the raw Oyster Concentrates, which I looked up & found out is possibly the main source of zinc, & is irrelevant to my point..... It helps Boost Testosterone Levels!!!( Supposedly).

But in all seriousness it's a great product & you'll undoubtedly almost immediately feel a Psychical &/or Mental head change & a boost of overall energy. One other thing I should mention, It's not a good idea to take one of these tablets & afterwards consume over two cups off coffee, Or even any...... Personally the combination of these two cause my stress levels to dramatically go overboard for some reason, It could just be me, Or to much caffeine, In any case take precautions when/if you decide to consume one after taking the other. Decided to try the Opti-men and suddenly started to feel heart palpitations and anxiety while taking the pills. I came to he conclusion that it might be the added amino acids that were added. I am sensitive to various types of amino acids, but not sure which type of amino acid.

Really liked this product though as it did give me the extra energy boost i needed throughout the day, however the heart palpitations and the added anxiety i got from the pills definitely made me stop. Hopefully, orange triad another recommended multivitamin might be best for me. (Posted on 1/31/12)

Basically, I feel a marked increase in energy and stamina whenever I take one in the morning with breakfast, such that I no longer need to take a 30-60 minute mid-afternoon nap to recharge even on days when I've had only 5-6 hours of sleep the night before!

I have felt no need to take more than one pill a day, especially since some reviewers have reported difficulty sleeping at night when doing so. The size and smell of the capsules are fine, and the fluorescent green urine it creates for a couple of hours after ingestion doesn't bother me either, in the least. I've been using Opti-men multi-vits for ~1 month. Previously I had been using "One A Day" multi-vits. With the change to Opti-men, I have noticed a significant increase in both mental focus and physical energy. Awesome product. Tho it says to take 3 pills a day, that is really not needed. One pill a day is good enough to keep your diet balanced. So if you are on a diet and you are missing a bunch of other nutrition values then this is the right stuff for you. This is for men, not women! There is a different type of product for women. Right now I am nearing the end of P90X, which has gotten me into the best shape of my life and has helped me eat tremendously better than I had been despite being a skinny guy because of my metabolism.

I've only been using these vitamins twice a day for a few days, but I feel more energetic and my workouts have been off the charts, doing more pull-ups/chin-ups than ever before. I truly think this supplements my body with what it craves during my workout.

In regards to taste/smell, I really don't mind it at all and some Nature's Way vitamins I've tried have smelled and tasted much worse. (Posted on 1/6/12)

I am big believer in using vitamins to fill any deficiency gaps you may have in your diet. For the past few years I have been taking One A Day Men's multivitamins. I always thought they were sufficient as a daily vitamin. That was until I started taking Opti-Men vitamins. Comparing the two I would have to say these Opti-men vitamins are twice as good as the One A Day Men's. I have a lot more energy and overall I feel a lot better. I take one pill a day, which seems sufficient enough. I weigh about 215 pounds. So if you're an active guy and are into taking vitamins, then I would give opti-men a try. (Posted on 1/6/12)

I would characterize myself as a fitness enthusiast (weight lifting tri-weekly, swimming, running) and also an avid fan of nutrition. While I was ordering some more Whey protein and CLA pills from Optimum Nutrition, I stumbled upon their multivitamins. I follow a healthy lifestyle, but wanted to take a multivitamin as insurance.

These are a really complete vitamin for an athlete. Split the dose into three times daily if you are a bigger guy, like over 200 pounds. Smaller guys can get away with one or two in a day. Dont be surprised when your Pee is Neon colored! The only bad thing I can think of with these is that they smell awful. (Posted on 1/6/12)
