Priorities determine the lives that we live. It is the manner in which we reorganize our priorities that makes it possible for us to live with some of the decisions that we make, and ensure that they are worthwhile too. The manner in which we do things from day to day is closely related to our need for self-actualization and most importantly how to feel a sense of belonging with everything that we do. We actually have so much that we want to do in as short as 24 hours and this is as a matter of fact one of the main challenges that we must face every other day. At times we feel like we need to have 32 hours to be able to do everything that we should in a day, but we do not always have that luxury.
The society that we live in today allows us to try everything that we want to do, of course as long as it is legal. There is a lot of room for growth and experimenting and kids today are allowed that freedom to find their own space, find what they really want to do and go ahead with it. Because of this, the things that you will decide to do with your free time will all be about your personal preferences and your priorities. Depending on the nature of your priorities, there is so much that you will be able to do. However, it is important to mention that priorities normally change with time.
I have always made my personal health and fitness a priority in life because to me this is my life. I cannot imagine living any other way, or going through my life without having to keep this doctrine that I live by. It is what makes me who I am today, and because of this I work so hard to make sure that I can become the best of who I want to be.
My priorities in life are my personal health and fitness because to me when I achieve the personal goals that I want, I get to feel much better about my achievements and in essence myself. When I go out to exercise, I am not doing this for anyone but for myself, and the benefits are directly aimed at making me a better person. However much anyone can try to change my perception and change or interfere with my life, no one can ever take this away from me at all.
The other thing that I always think about when it comes to setting my priorities is that if I never get to do it, nobody else will do it for me. One of the easiest things that you can do in life is to simply live your life without being healthy at all. That is very easy; eating junk and anything that comes your way, drinking and so forth. However, when it is all said and done, we have to deal with the consequences squarely.
