Rewarewa (Knightia excelsa) is a prominent native forest tree that only grows in the North Island and the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand. Rewarewa trees produce a rich, full flavored nectar, regarded by many as New Zealand's best tasting dark honey. BeeNZ honey is sourced from our own beehives and other trusted beekeepers, many of whom we extract for, so we know the honey's properties and quality from the beginning of its lifecycle.
Enjoy it on a toast, in a hot or cold honey drink or try it straight off the spoon.
Precautions: Should not be given to infants under 12 months.
Storage at ≤20C will maximize the honey's quality and optimize its potential.
