About This Product
NOW® Glycine 1,000 mg – Restful Sleep & Nervous System Support
Promote restorative rest, calm your mind, and support healthy cellular repair with NOW® Glycine 1,000 mg. Glycine is the simplest and most versatile non-essential amino acid, functioning as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain to encourage calm, relaxation, and deeper sleep cycles.
Beyond sleep support, glycine serves as an indispensable structural building block for glutathione (the body's master antioxidant), collagen, DNA, and muscle creatine—making it a staple for joint integrity, metabolic health, and post-workout recovery.
Key Benefits
-
Promotes Restful Sleep: Supports a lower core body temperature and calms neural activity, helping you fall asleep faster and wake up feeling refreshed without next-day grogginess.
-
Calm & Cognitive Function: Acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter to ease everyday tension, promote mental relaxation, and support overall nervous system health.
-
Collagen & Joint Integrity: A critical component of collagen synthesis, helping maintain elastic skin, strong cartilage, and resilient joints and ligaments.
-
Cellular Defense & Detox: Essential precursor for glutathione synthesis, defending tissues against oxidative stress and supporting liver detoxification pathways.
