About This Product
NOW® Zinc Picolinate 50 mg – Enhanced Absorption for Immune Defense & Cellular Health
Strengthen your body's frontline defenses and cellular vitality with NOW® Zinc Picolinate 50 mg. Zinc is an essential trace mineral involved in hundreds of critical enzymatic functions throughout the body—playing an indispensable role in immune response, wound healing, protein and DNA synthesis, and hormone balance.
Because the body cannot store zinc, consistent daily replenishment is necessary. NOW utilizes Zinc Picolinate, an organic chelated form created by binding zinc to picolinic acid. This chelation enables superior passage through intestinal walls, ensuring significantly higher bioavailability and gentler digestion compared to standard inorganic forms like zinc oxide or zinc sulfate.
Key Benefits
-
Robust Immune Support: Stimulates the activity of T-lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells, strengthening your immune defenses against seasonal challenges.
